About Kelly Chambers
Kelly has a background in Visual Arts from Brown University. Her interest in improvisiation and voice acting started in 2013 when she began studying sketch writing with Seth Hogan and took an IWA Groundlings class with Danielle Marrow. Since that time, she’s a graduate of Second City Hollywood, has taken classes on writing for late night, constructing comedic screen plan, and voice over for improvisors. She’s expanded her repertoire to include clowning, genre improv, and more.
In addition to studying the art, Kelly regularly performs at Second City both in a variety of groups and as the lead on her own improv show, the Almost Late Show. She’s appeared as a guest on a number of improv shows. Her duo show, The Purdy Twins, shows monthly at the Clubhouse and travels to festivals across the country including the IMPRIDE Finest City Improv San Diego in 2017 and the Alaska State Improv Festival in 2018 .
